According to Premium Times,the residents said they saw several soldiers, wearing torn uniforms and gloomy faces, returned in the wee hours of Tuesday.
A resident, Joseph Baba, said
“we saw some of them purchasing second hand clothes at the Mubi main market”.Initially, we were afraid. People panicked when we sighted the troops. They arrived in the wee hours and people began to scamper for safety because no one knew their mission. I even thought they were Boko Haram disguised in military uniform as the insurgents usually do,”The Defence Headquarters issued a brief statement confirming the return of the soldiers.
It said the “troops who returned from Cameroon were today addressed by the General Officer Commanding 3 Division, Major General Zaruwa as they embarked on another mission in the Counter Terrorism campaign”.

ReplyDeletepick up a stick not a riffle first!,and defend your immediate neighborhood before you can have the justification to write such... this guys put their life in line to defend our nation, If Bokoharam finish killing all our soldiers(will never happen) then, they'll come for civilians like you and i, Hope you are ready dear? Because, i can tell that you're very brave from your comment. it's better to retrieve and work on a better attack strategy than die foolishly in a battle. remember most of them are people relatives like you. husband, wife, brother. e.t.c. The battle is even more difficult because the enemy is withing us like chameleon, they're close to all of us and maybe occupy important seats in the government. I'm not a soldier but i feel for this guys and their families. i read a lot of publications on how young wives turn widow just because their husbands were defending the country and my heart wept each time. God bless Nigeria!, may he grant us divine direction, let him put genuine love in our hearts, that we may be able to truly love one another. Amen!
