Ex-Benue governor Suswam reportedly arrested by UK police for assualting wife

According to new reports, the former governor of Benue State Mr. Gabriel Suswam was last week arrested in London for battery charges.
He was reportedly booked by Metropolitan Police Domestic Violence Officers for several hours and was only released after paying a £5000 bail bound
His arrest came after Police received a distressed 999 call from his wife Yemisi the former first lady of Benue state.
She told a dispatcher over the phone that she feared for her life after being physically assaulted by her husband over a heated argument relating to Suswam's mistress Shidoo.Suswam reportedly hit Yemisi severally and inflicted injuries on her...Suswam faces a prison term not exceeding six months.

It is claimed Shidoo has a child for the governor and works at NAFDAC..British police are said tobe pressing the former first lady to file battery charges against her husband ..

      He is in a big mess if she files a battery charges against him. UK is not like Nigeria where tnhe matter will not be judiciously addressed.
