Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's girlfriend blasted for sitting on this chair made out of naked black woman

The girlfriend of Russian Billionaire(owner of Chelsea football club) Roman Abramovich Dasha Zhukova  came under fire after posting a photo of her sitting on a chair which was carved to resemble a naked black woman .It coincided with MLK Martin Luther King Day and the outrage forced her to take it down and crop the picture .

The art also comes in white i.e white woman

Who else thinks that chair is highly offensive...

    Why do we blacks castigate our self on any slightest opportunity? What's wrong with a work of art? What if the chair was curved out of a white woman, would the white world say anything! Sure they will, they will appreciate the art and be happy about it but we black, we see everything black that's not in our favor as offensive, I have no issue with that chair, to me it's so beautiful and if I had the money I will make me one and sit on it for as long as it lasts. Art is never offensive.

      You asked why she didn't sit on the white seat, I think it's because the black is far more beautiful than the white, am sure you will agree with me on that if you appreciate the work of art. Most times white don't abhor is, it's the elks of black like you that keeps reminding them that you are minority and you are black. Am sure that lady sitting they don't have any thing against the black skin but people like you brought her mind to it. An Italian Minister was giving a speech when an Italian fool threw a banana at her, she later replied politely that it's a shame someone is throwing away food when there is a dare food scarcity.

      What is an Art? you dont illustrate others in such a way to humiliate them and call it art? Black went through slavery in the hand of white, so it says a lot. she might not meant it to offend anyone, but sure its very offensive. she should have just sat on the white one but not the black.

      Exactly. It's the insensitivity of it. Had she THOUGHT about the implications, she would probably have used the white woman model.
      And Kanayo, as long as blacks, women especially are maligned and castigated daily by some whites who still feel superior when they are clearly NOT, such images WILL and ought to provoke outrage. So deal with it!
