I write this with a heart filled with hurt.it took a lot for me to summon courage and write this coz I was scared of what people would say but really,right now I care less. I would really appreciate if you all spare 5mins of your time for me by reading this.
A family friend of mine told me about several schools offering scholarships to international students and advised me to give it a try,I got home and told my parents about it and they gave the go ahead. Along the line,my parents suggested that my elder brother should give it a try too,he did and after few months of waiting and praying we got a reply from the school. Indeed we both were excited coz not 1 but 2 of us got a possitive reply.

Well our joy was short-lived when we read the message till the end. The school requested for a sum of 1,500USD for immigration/accommodation fee(per person) and after that,you don't pay anymore and I knew this would be a tough one coz we are doing through financial difficulties in the family.
Our parents sat us down and told us we both have to think about this coz in all honesty they can afford to pay for one and the other stays back. Being a junior and knowing the trauma my brother went through in his previous school(he got robbed and drugged,spent weeks in the hospital) I didn't think twice and decided to stay back.
If you were in my shoes what would you have done? It really hurts coz I brought this up and in the end I'm giving it up.so I'm pleading with the MPN fam,someone out there somewhere would read this and understand what I'm going through and how much it hurts to give this up. Nothing is too small believe me,a drop of water they say makes an ocean,may God bless us all,thank you!

DeleteI think this is a big slap on your parents and I don't thing I'd give you a big hug for doing this if I happen to be your mother or even a relative. Your parents said give it up for your brother then do as they say and not come on blog to beg. They might be saving you from a future disaster, they say what an elder sees sitting down a child might not see it even if he/she climb the iroko tree. There many school in EURO who offer free tuition fees for international student , like norway , finland cyprus turkey germany ,and many more , the immigration law is that u need to transfer money from ur home country so that they will that during your stay in school or their country u can take care of urself feeding, clothing and the money is around 3m in niara . So that $1500 is not real , if u want more info I can give u or u search google

Did you forward Emeh the actual mail received from the school (not the documents, the mail itself containing the documents)?

Why would this institution demand the payments for migration whatever, when in fact the student visa is issued freely to all students that got admission in that particular university including the study permit (why is your own different) ..? Why are the fees even different from that f the institution? So many questions, i cant ask all.....
