Lol they say the Nigerian Army is warning celebs to stay off Camouflages as it is an abuse of the Nigerian Army..See the open letter reportedly written by teh Nigerian Army to them.Who believe this?
"This is to inform the general public and most especially Nigerian celebrities to abstain from the use and abuse of the Nigerian Military camouflage.
Several investigations were carried out and we noticed the camouflage is mostly been used by Nigerian celebrities in music videos, photo-shoots and concerts.
In these same videos and photo sessions, Nigerian celebrities like “Jesse Jags” smoke marijuana while putting on the Nigerian Military camouflage. This is a shameful act and it will NOT be tolerated henceforth.
Other Celebrities have also been noticed putting on the camouflage at will. They include Iyanya, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno Miles, Chidinma etc.
The military camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry, It is strictly meant for military personnels.
Henceforth, any civilian found GUILTY of putting on the camouflage irrespective of their social status will be dealt with severely.
OUR ACTIONS WILL NOT BE QUESTIONED."

ReplyDeleteThats not the point, i get the military's perspective. Putting on a uniform that isnt earned is false representation and in America, its a crime to wear their military uniform if you do not belong. I am sure there are other camouflage prints they can wear without disrespecting the people that earned the right to wear the uniform
ReplyDeleteWhich america are u talkin abt ??dey rock it anywia on d streets dere ,rubbish ,I even felt like a fool when I told them twas an offence in nigeria
DeleteMehn..... Like seriously, this is no big deal..... Well, make them just obey sharperly b4 wetin pass boko haram start....
ReplyDeleteI just love pweety
ReplyDeleteU hear?
ReplyDeleteOMD I don't even know what to say or where to start because that open letter is very irrelevant because not only Nigeria wears the camouflage colors as military uniform and those who are even in the military do not even respect it,and Nigerian government or who ever concluded to this idea is just looking for trouble bringing forth ridiculous injunctions you don't hear any other Country writing an open letter giving out about the camouflage clothing ....Look for a better reason to give out to the celebrities and focus more on how to improve the country
ReplyDeleteHopefully the next open letter will be very relevant
