3 Shot Dead While Trying To Flee Court Room

Moscow police on Tuesday gunned down three defendants on trial for 17 gang murders after they tried to seize their guards’ weapons and flee.

Moscow regional police said:

While in a lift, five suspects “attacked police officers and tried to seize their weapons.” In the subsequent shootout “three of the prisoners were liquidated and two wounded,” while a law enforcement officer was hospitalised with gunshot wounds, police said.
