What I know is that for the Celeb's, it is cheaper to have destination weddings. Fewer guest would come translating to less cost. In Naija, expensive Champagne n Cognac must flow like water but for Onyinbo land, they only fill your cups as instructed by the couple b4 the event. Most of what was used could be hired and returned afterwards this includes the wedding dress and groom's tux but not possible in Nigeria. So all in all cheaper for the family.
