As Ex President Goodluck Jonathan Bows out...

Today May 29th,2015,Goodluck Ebele Jonathan  formally bowed out of his position as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria..His story is an inspiring yet,intricate one..Many believe his rise to power was nothing short of divine favor..But most importantly,thanks to one single phone call to his opponent and now president,Muhammadu Buhari,he is now widely received as a hero and the new face of democracy..
During the handover of his administration's reports,new president Buhari told him
"You have earned yourself a place in Nigeria's history for stabilizing our democracy. If you wanted to make things difficult, you could have but you didn't and for that, you have won the respect of world leaders"
 As President Jonathan said, 
My second term ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian ... In my political life, I have never been driven by the love of power.
He sure lived up to his words.He is indeed a hero of our time... If you had an opportunity to meet president Jonathan today what would you tell him?

    And how much i reckon with GEJ, I write this as someone who does not know President Jonathan personally. I have never met the man. Neither have I ever spoken to him electronically. All I know about him is what I read in the papers, or what I have seen of him on television. Nevertheless, he has been my president for the last five years.
    When you write positively about the president, his opponents insist you must either be a card-carrying member of the PDP or be looking for a job. They act as if it is impossible to like him without having an ulterior motive. I have ignored this cheap blackmail designed to discourage people from expressing freely their liking for the president. But it has already outlived its usefulness. In a matter of hours he will be my ex president..GEJ to some people, he must not succeed, Indeed they did their best to sabotage his administration, BH was one of their many weapons, the press and the social media also became their tools of persecution where the president was maliciously labelled "Clueless".. GEJ lost the election because he belongs to a different class of Nigerian politician.. He lost because he did not regard the presidency as something to be grasped. He lost the election coz unlike most politicians, GEJ is a human being, he is a simple, decent, unassuming human being, and that makes him God sent to Nigeria... Before the election, GEJ's traducers tried to compare him to GBAGBO of Cote d Ivoire, a president who refused to leave even after he lost the election.. How wrong they proved to be. GEJ not only lost, his loss became his victory. When the history of 2015 election is finally written, the emphasis will not only be that Buhari won, but more significantly, that GEJ lost. To put it more precisely, the president agreed to lose.. What kind of a man does that in a country like Nigeria.. My children will hear your story and forever you shall remain MY HERO.. I celebrate you today and forever the precedence you have left behind will speak for you and remain in the sands of time... YOUGEJISMYHERO..!!

    I will say thanks sir but I never saw any developments in dis country all thru ur stay as a president instead u were so weak n led by ur Dame mama peace..i won't av been against u if u had done so well for this country,n while u ws campaigning u made a shocking statement one day,u said if u've been re elected u are gonna bring back our girl meaning u knw were they are n if u nt re-elected u won't look for solution..well thank God u are going,so many Nigerians are seeing u as their hero but to me u've done nothing.
