President Jonathan condemns AL-Shabab attack on Kenyan University

Today,147 were killed when Al-shabab militants stormed Garissa University,Kenya and shot indiscriminately, mainly targeting Christians..President Jonathan has condemned the attack..Read statement below..
"President Goodluck Jonathan extends heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Kenya and to the families of those who died today in the gruesome terrorist attack on the Garissa University College in Kenya.

President Jonathan utterly condemns the deliberate targeting of innocent persons, schools and other soft targets by terrorists as such atrocious, despicable and barbaric acts of violence ought to have no place in any civilized society.
The President assures President Uhuru Kenyatta and the brotherly people of Kenya that Nigeria stands in full solidarity with them as they come to grips once again with the aftermath of another heinous terrorist attack on their country.

Nigeria, President Jonathan affirms, will continue to work with Kenya, other African countries and the international community to rid the world of all terrorist groups.

The President believes that the attack on the Kenyan University and other similar atrocities across the world must strengthen and solidify the resolve of the global community to take more urgent and co-ordinated actions to speedily defeat the agents of global terror.

  3. All shabab killers are not different from Buhari and his supporters.Al shabab millitants killed only 147 people but buhari's supporters killed 20,000 people during the 2011 post election massacre. The victory of buhari is a triumph of evil over good.

  8. Lets set aside emotions and sentiments and put things in perspective. This al shabab guys are saints when compared to the real buhari and his northern muslim hausa-fulani supporters.Al shabab killed only 147 innocent peple and the whole world is shouting but Buhari incited his supporters into slaughtering innocent 20,000 nigerians in 2011 due to his selfish political ambition and the world kept quiet. This is hypocrisy in the highest order.
