I managed to steal a glance at the big clock that hung on the wall in our Living room and couldn’t believe the time. It was 7:45a.m.. Yeee….pa! I I exclaimed. Giiiiirlllls, wake up, we are behind time already, Lami, Chizzy, Bidemi, Augusta, wake up… I kept calling out. The girls just turned around lazily while Bidemi and Chizzy adjusted very well to continue dozing, – they don’t joke with sleep- Lami in her usual self just shouted… “Abeg abeg abeg, wetin na, if you no wan sleep abeg make person rest”. I wasn’t surprised, that was Lami in her usually Razz self. She can transform from razz to class in less than a second when situations arise, babe is that good! After a night out drinking, I didn’t expect any less from the girls. Chizzy and Lami even threw up yesterday… Before we got home nko? We were all practically wasted. Seeing that we were already getting late, I had to do all it took to get the girls’ up. I thought of sprinkling water on them, but hey, I no want early morning wahala. Lanre and his friends will be coming any moment from now and I wouldn’t want to get them disappointed. Lanre is a friend to the Girls’ Fam, yea, we are family. Chizzy and I were the first occupants of the flat; I met Chizzy in my first day in School when I came for registration. I was clueless as to the rudiments of registration, She was too and from hi’s to hello’s to what do you think we are to submit first and how much do you think the new School fees is, we found out we were in the same faculty and viola, became friends! …Singing Faze’s - “them be two, later become three, they run things together, live in peace and harmony, but suddenly….”, Oh no, that didn’t happen, see more
