Synagogue -Why we haven't held anyone accountable-Lagos Govt

In light of allegations by some especially journalist Nicolas Ibekwe ,that Lagos State governor is conniving with TB Joshua and not holding him accountable, the state government held a press conference to explain their stance.Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Aderemi Ibirogba , said
“We have some issues coming up. We would not want to do anything that will embarrass anyone, ourselves or compromise ongoing investigation being carried out by others. This is why we are putting this off; please bear with us,”
“We are all aware that the Federal Government has set up a committee, what we are saying is that in order for us not to pre-empt  that committee and hold anyone responsible the best thing is for us to put this conference on hold.(continue)...
Agencies of government are working together so that at the end of the day we will have a comprehensive report. Before that is out, it will not be right for us to tell you the situation. We know that time is of essence here and I believe the committee will work within the shortest time possible. For all your questions and concerns, I believe the comprehensive report will be exhaustive”.

  8. Why did the state governor didn't hold a press conference at the venue of the incidence? This is just medicine after burial. It shows Lagos state governor and his men have taken bribe from tb Joshua tuberculosis and have been infected. Shame on you. A state is bigger than individual, but why in Nigeria...an individual is bigger than the state. It is time not to exchange the country's birthright for a bowl of meal. Fashola I hope you think well and do the right thing and don't let us(we your supporter and admirer) down. God bless.

  10. The fact that the Lagos state govt is working with the Federal govt and not talking about how incompetent they are already tells me all i need to know about this issue.

There is a conspiracy of silence (and of inaction), or this two woulda come to blows or political horse trading.

  11. What is there to investigate when the story is that the failed building was initially a two floor
structure and more additional four floors were added recently. Was the foundation meant
for a six floor building? SCOAN and those in Lagos state government town planing
authority that gave approval for such structural modification should be held responsible
for that disaster. Rip to the dead and speedy healing to the injured. IJN

  14. This is all BS. Development Control is the responsibility of the state government. The federal government has no business here. I thought Fashola was different but he just shows that he is another dirty politician. Shame on us. Jonathan is already a confused man who has shown that he is easily intimidated by so-called men of God. Imagine the president of a country kneeling in the presence of known thieves while a fake man of God pretends to pray for him. All of this in a foreign country! The Israelis must have had a good laugh on that one.
