Girl beaten,forced to strip after being falsely accused of stealing weed

A video recently going viral on Facebook shows a group of men and women forcing a girl to strip down to her bra and panties because they suspected she stole a gram of weed.

The group thought the girl stole weed from them and asked her to strip in front of both men and women who all had camera phones on her! When she refused to strip, another young lady began punching and hitting her and a young man kicked her.

Court sacks 9mobile board over $35m investment

Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court in Lagos has nullified the appointment of an interim board for Emerging Markets Telecommunications Service (EMTS), owners of 9mobile (formerly Etisalat), the fourth largest telecommunications service operator in Nigeria.

The judge gave the verdict on Friday in a ruling on an application by a firm, Spectrum Wireless Com-munication Ltd, which claimed it invested $35 million in EMTS/Etisalat in 2009.

Davido sets his sights on’ South African pantless dancer Zodwa Wabantu

Nigeria’s singer, Davido is set for a collaboration with South Africa’s sensational dancer, Zodwa Wabantu, who normally dances on stage, without wearing a pant.

 According to the Zimbabwe’s Herald, the collaboration between Davido and Zodwa, who is known as Queen of Vosso, is being arranged by Afrotainment boss, DJ Tira. 

The report said Davido had sought Tira’s help to get Wabantu to feature in his upcoming music video.

Lagos govt. bans cart pushers,wheelbarrow operators

The Lagos State Government on Saturday banned cart pushers and wheelbarrow operators, saying their activities are inimical to the environmental cleanliness of the state.

The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tunji Bello, made this known in a statement in Lagos.

Bello said that with the flag off of the Cleaner Lagos Initiative (CLI), the continuous activities of cart pushers would pose a threat to the success of the initiative.
