Wife of alleged Badoo kingpin cries our from hiding-Our lives are in danger

Mrs. Abimbola Alaka, wife of Chief Abayomi Alaka, alleged financier of Badoo killer gangs, has cried out ,alleging her family is in danger.



She appealed to President Mohammadu Buhari, the Inspector General of Police and other stakeholders to rescue her husband and family from endless threats,  from relatives of Badoo victims. Alaka, who is on the run, has been declared wanted by the police in Lagos State.

Mrs. Alaka, while speaking with journalists from her hideout, said 

 “I can no longer move round freely. Some of the relatives of the victims are threatening to kill me and the children for something we know nothing about.
“My husband is innocent of the allegations levelled against him by the police. My husband was first arrested last year on the 18th of June and released on the 19th of June 2017 on the condition that he should bring N10 million. On 30th of June 2017, he was re-arrested because he could not raise the money and by 31st of June 2017, he was paraded and later released on 1st July,” she explained.

According to The Nation,She added that due to unending harassment and embarrassment, known and unknown people who claim to be relatives of victims, her children were withdrawn from their schools in Ikorodu. She appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to please wade into the matter and stop the Lagos State Police Command from destroying the reputation of her husband.
