(Pics/Video)Woman killed by tram after stopping to use her phone in the middle of the tracks

 CCTV onboard a tram captured the horrific moment a pedestrian was staring at her phone - unaware she was seconds from death.

The woman was captured standing in the middle of the tracks.As the tram(a rail vehicle which runs on tracks along public urban streets) emerged from underneath a railway bridge, she remains standing in its path.The frantic driver tried to stop, but it was too late and she was struck down.

The driver, who appears to be in her 60s,exited the cab in a bid to help.The woman was rushed to a Moscow hospital where she later died of her injuries.

The name of the victim and the driver have not been made public.
