Bukola Saraki emerges Senate President

After the crises which rocked APC's choice of Senator Ahmed Lawan as the party's sole candidate for senate president,Senator Bukola Saraki has been unanimously elected as the 8th Nigerian Senate President of the National House of Assembly..Senator Sen Ike Ekweremadu of the PDP and Mohammed Ali Ndume are in the running  for deputy senate president....
This morning, the People's Democratic party announced he was their candidate and urged it's members to vote for him..
The one time governor of Kwara state represents Kwara Central Senatorial Zone..

  7. One thing i know for sure is that APC will still divide.... they were only united to fight a common enemy (Jonathan).. in politics there are no permanent friends or enemies... we shall see how this govt goes...na sidon look i dey

  9. Its about time for Nigerians to realize that our leaders were voted in to serve and not to rule over us. Don't be happy for him and don't hail him but urge him to serve his constituency whom he represents and to serve Nigeria as a whole. God bless Nigeria.
