Stop the Discrimination of Nigerians over Ebola-President Jonathan

It's common knowledge that some Nigerians are being stigmatized in some countries, over Ebola .Some have been denied entry into some countries over the disease ..Reacting to this development in  a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media & Publicity to the President,Reuben Abati

"President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan said Monday in Abuja that he expects and hopes that Nigerians will no longer suffer discriminatory checks and stigmatization abroad now that the World Health Organisation has certified that the country is Ebola-free.

Speaking at an audience with the Foreign Ministers of Germany and France who called on him at the Presidential Villa, President Jonathan restated the Federal Government’s displeasure over the stigmatization of Nigerians by some countries after the Ebola virus entered Nigeria in July through a Liberian traveller.

He maintained that there was never any justifiable basis for the stigmatization of Nigerians since Ebola was rapidly contained in the country and never attained epidemic levels.

He told the French Foreign Minister, Mr. Laurent Fabius and the German Foreign Minister, Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier that Nigeria will remain fully vigilant to prevent the re-entry of the virus because the Federal Government recognizes that the country will remain at risk as long as Ebola is active other West African countries or any other part of the world.

Nigeria, President Jonathan assured the visiting Ministers, will therefore cooperate fully with other concerned nations to stop the current outbreak of Ebola in West Africa as quickly as possible.

The Ministers told the President that they were in Nigeria to seek further cooperation with the Federal Government in the growing global effort to contain the current outbreak and continuing spread of the Ebola Virus Disease.

They praised Nigeria’s successful containment of the virus and expressed the desire of France, Germany and the European Union to collaborate more with Nigeria in helping other West African countries where the virus still remains active.

  8. Reuben Abati the mumu mouth piece of yeeyee Jonathan u both should SHUT UP ur stinking irritating mouth!u are all stupid criminal leaders in an over corrupt zoo called nigeria! Stupid Jonathan and mumu follow follow Reuben stop forming caring!afterall even while we were still inside nigeria we received harder and harsher stigmatization from tribalistic nepotism which is called quota system which allow a separate admission mark from people of different regions of the country into thesame higher institution,or is the stigmatization of making our parents to pay high school fees for their children while thesame level of education is given free in the north! or is it the stigmatization of u must know some criminal politician in abuja b4 u can work in certain companies or is it the stigma of 5 stadias filled with able bodied ready to work but jobless youths who came out in their thousands to apply for few positions in the nigerian customs or was it immigration?and positions that were never available in the first place! Or Reuben how do deal with the stigma which puts mallams who produce nothing into positions they're never qualified for? Look u stupid nigerian leaders should just close those ur useless mouths b'cus without Ebola we are stigmatised evrywhere and evryday as people don't even want to have anything to with us immediately after introduction and they realise we are 4rm that God forsaken country called nigeria b'cus they tell us hoo haa that "we know ur leaders in nigeria are corrupt"and "we know ur country is good with fraud"as i've experienced!so we face alot of stigmatization already from the stupid criminal behaviours of u useless leaders so Ebola stigma is nothing!afterall me and my American,Mexican, jamaican, colombian and Spanish friends just finished eating launch together and we all joke about it b'cus they're all well informed that Ebola is a weaponized disease created by america and europian big shots as a means of population control! But u Jonathan decided to bribe them with crude oil and oil money so that the weapon should not be used in nigeria ur country which was why nigeria's name was declared as free from Ebola!so stop decieving the ignorant populace that nigeria which has no health system contained Ebola! U only paid ur way thru it!
