Hollywood Actor Sean Astin's shock reaction to Nigeria 's Ebola-Free Status

 Actor and radio host ,Sean Astin reacted with shock  to W.H.O declaration that Nigeria is Ebola Free..After some backlash ,he then softened his stance ,saying it's wonderful news but you could tell he was still shocked as to how a country with 140 million people could contain ebola in no time..

He is renowned for his role as Samwise Gamgee in  The Lord of the Rings film trilogy...

      That's too uncouth for a lady. I don't think his utterance has any racist undertone, its more of ignorance. You will agree with me that Africa as a whole healthcare system is in a comatose state. Ideally, anyone who knows the state of our hospitals compared to the ones in the west will be surprised how Nigeria was able to contain the virus within a short time. Many share his sentiments including myself but coming from Nigeria it makes it easier for me to believe than some other skeptics.

He means that, Nigeria, known for her corruption, as usual or as expected, has manipulated WHO into declaring her space, Ebola free. Meaning, that the stories we sell out are all lies and there is still Ebola in Nigeria.

    Many of us keeps calling westerners racist whereas we even do worse, albeit unknowingly. Referring to someone based on their skin colour is racist; white, black etc are racist terms and should be discouraged.     The fact of the matter is WHO declared Nigeria Ebola free. I believe other nations can learn from the methods and practices that all stakeholders had in place to contain the EVD when that US Liberian Patrick deliberately lied and took EVD to Nigeria.

    wow, as an international observer, i am impressed by the level of nationalism being demostrated at this plat form, the question of endless international political boundres, the issue of social interaction, and the psychology of divers cultures.

    Observation of Personal Hygene

    Enviromental Sanitation

    Avoid unnessary hand shake

    Avoid contact with infected person

    Avoid exchange of any sort of body fluid

    finally washing ones hand with soap and water as a regular hygene check

    Use of health APPROVED hand Sanitiser's

    It is actually this easy as A,B,C...

    There was no politics in this procedure as far as Nigerians can tell. it work if any Government Observe this easy steps.

    Nigeria is a 3rd world country but am very proud to say we were at the vanguard of Ebola and we Contained it.

    Thanks to the Government, the Brave people of Nigeria and our Health Team during this National Crisis.
