Ebola: 2 more die in Benue after drinking & bathing with salt water

Barely a week after 20 people were hospitalised and 2 died in Jos,two more have died in Makurdi, Benue State after drinking salt to prevent Ebola.
 Dr Joseph Kumba, Director, Public Health in the Ministry of Health and Human Services confirmed the report to the Sun
“We got the report at a meeting today (Wednesday 13th August) that two persons died at Ushakaa clinic as a result of drinking and bathing with hot salted water.”......
The Medical Director of Ushakaa Hospital Dr Innocent Gbillah who did not disclose the names said it was a male and a female who were admitted on Saturday..
“We did everything possible to help the victims but to no avail. One of them died on Tuesday at 7 pm while the other gave up the ghost at 5 am Wednesday (yesterday).”
