Malaysian politician slammed after tweeting missing plane may have been swallowed by the Bermuda Triangle

Piers Morgan tweeted his dismay over the disappearance of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH 370 and a Malaysian Politician attributed it to the "Bermuda Triangle"
His tweet was followed by heavy backlash with many calling him insensitive..He later responded
"I tweeted prayers for the MH370's passengers' safety before that. I was responding to CNN's Piers Morgan, who had more or less broadcasted news ahead of Malaysia Airlines and RTM. And we knew nothing of the plane's whereabouts," he said, as quoted by the Star Online. "If at all my comments did cause unnecessary disturbance and disheartened feelings, my greatest apologies – I seek forgiveness."
However it's been four days now and still no news of the missing aircraft leading  to more speculations a possible hijack or of this Bermuda triangle
For those who don't know about it,read below as culled from Times

"The Bermuda Triangle is a large area of ocean between Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. Over the last few centuries, it’s thought that dozens of ships and planes have disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the area, earning it the nickname “The Devil’s Triangle.” it’s simply an area in which people have experienced a lot of bad luck
The Bermuda Triangle’s bad reputation started with Christopher Columbus's October 8, 1492, log in which he noted weird readings in the area.
A series of disappearances over the so-called “Devil’s Triangle,” the vast expanse of ocean between Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda has given the region an unshakeable notoriety. Two British South American Airways passenger jets disappeared in the region in 1948 and 1949, and more than 51 people were lost on the two flights and never found. In 1945, five American bombers ran a training mission over the area and were never recovered; the aircraft charged with finding the men deployed with a 13-man crew, and also vanished
The majority of disappearances can be attributed to the area’s unique features. The Gulf Stream, a warm ocean current flowing from the Gulf of Mexico around the Florida Straits northeastward toward Europe, is extremely swift and turbulent. It can quickly erase any evidence of a disaster. The unpredictable Caribbean-Atlantic storms that give birth to waves of great size as well as waterspouts often spell disaster for pilots and mariners -
Others suggest sudden rogue tidal waves. Or maybe some mysterious geomagnetic anomaly that creates navigational problems confusing pilots and somehow causing them to plunge into the ocean;

However....................
After decades of speculation that aliens, black-hole vortices and evil Atlantis influences were responsible for the disappearance of dozens of ships and planes in the 'Devil's Triangle',US Agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration  claims that foul weather and poor navigation are likely to blame for any mishaps in the area between Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.
'There is no evidence that mysterious disappearances occur with any greater frequency in the Bermuda Triangle than in any other large, well-traveled area of the ocean,

  6. The plane was not flying across the Bermuda triangle.

    It is still puzzling though. They are saying the pilot changed course. Saying phones are ringing. I pray it's just a case of hijack and the passengers are safe somewhere.
