Nse Ikpe-Etim narrates her chilling true-life experience with jungle justice

Actress Nse Etim shared a chilling story about Jungle Justice on twitter(I had to copy it out to make it easy for reading)
"I'll tell you my experience #JungleJustice.I took a night bus to Aba some years ago from Abuja to the fabric market...After I had walked around and seen for myself, I went back to the park and decided to have a beer.I brought out my laptop and started writing...trying to blend in so I don't look out of place.I was scared but knew that in a few hours, I would be back home.As I took a swig from my bottle and turned to my laptop, in a flash...someone had lifted the bottle in pursuit of a young man.I heard screams of 'onye oshi' 'thief'...that's when I realized that the woman screaming had been robbed of her purse..The woman claimed she had only N200 and an umbrella in the purse. They pursued him, caught him and put a tire on his neck.They poured fuel on him and all I could do was beg the officers there to help him. They looked at me funny and struck the match.My journey to the nation's capital was no longer the adventure I hoped it would be, it was my worst nightmare.This isn't a movie... I'm talking about Jungle Justice in Nigeria. I think it's sickening and sad. We cannot lose our humanity.If a man does wrong, please seek the hands of the law. Taking the law into your hands is barbaric and that's not what we should be.What's your take on Jungle Justice? Let's talk!""

    Ma Dear Its Crazy!! Really Crazy!! I witnessed a whole lot of Jungle Justice By then BAKASI in Onitsha Anambra State, It was GRUESOME!! Still Have Um Memories Fresh In Ma Head Of How They Cutoff a man's Head And Played Foot Ball With It while people watched b4 setting It Ablaze.. #CRAZY!!

      They can my dear..but we nigerians are so heartless to some extent....when the deed is being done,crowds gather but yet no one would call the police unit untill the deed is full executed...should we call that ignorance of the people, ignorace to the law oR ignoramus attitude of our fellow nigerians

    i hav witness 1 or 2 and it wasnt fun @ all...d memories hunted me 4 years,stil gat some of them pics in ma head...i think its completely wrong...why then do we hav d law enforcement agencies?....2 wrongs cant mak a right...if u luk am well,u go discover say na thief dey burn thief..

    I witnessed two hausa guys get killed behind my house in Kaduna.I can never get over their faces, begging me to let them hide in our house. But we couldn't let them in, they had just killed 5 Christians

    No place is better though I'm not from Aba but Nigeria need to put it to stop. I don't see a reason why they should be talking about ciber and gay law when people are dying, boko Haram and practices of jungle justice. From mummy Ada
