Controversy has trailed  Kanye West's Yeezy season 4 show after models reportedly fainted, another snapped her heels and some complained about the heat.
The hip hop icon,showcased his collection to an audience on Roosevelt Island on Wednesday, where he invited top editors, bloggers and social media stars to feast their eyes upon his latest creations.

But the unique display was hampered by reports that models were fainting and in desperate need of water as they were forced to stand in the heat without shade.

It has been reported that Kanye's show, which was held in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park kicked off over an hour and a half later than the original 3pm time – keeping everyone waiting in the 86 degree heat.Other guests, who were specifically invited by the rapper, moaned that they were not given any snacks or water on the buses.

  According to the MailOnline, one of the models fainted before the show even started.

In a fashion show preview, Kanye declared that he didn't want his work to be described as 'fashion'.

“Let’s say apparel especially for the style of clothes I make. I’m not saying that this is a fashion proposition, I’m saying that this is a human proposition,” he said.
“I want to make pieces that can be timeless. Pieces that you can pick up out of a vintage store in 20 years and say, 'Wow, I’m happy I have this'.”
