Buhari extols Jonathan while addressing EU Parliament in France

President Buhari today Feb. 3rd commended ex president Goodluck Jonathan for conceding defeat during the 2015 general elections.Buhari said this while addressing  a special session of the European Union Parliament in France. 

This was after he held a bilateral meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz..He said

 "​As I have stated in other fora, the action of Nigeria’s former President,Goodluck Jonathan, is commendable.""For the first time in the history of Nigeria, a Presidential Candidate and sitting President, conceded electoral defeat...He said 

On Chibok schoolgirls and the challenges his administration is facing,he said , he said

"Many European Union Member States have pledged to support our efforts towards the rescue of the kidnapped...He also stated further "Nigeria is facing the challenges of oil-theft and illegal bunkering in the Niger Delta as well as recovery of illicit funds"
