Mr. Aderiye was on his way home when the gunmen numbering about four accosted and shot him at close range.Mr. Aderiye, a staunch supporter of Governor-elect, Ayodele Fayose was part of Mr. Fayose’s team that attacked a state high court judge earlier in the day.
The alleged thugs attacked Justice John Adeyeye, beating him up and ripping his clothes for being allegedly rude to Fayose. Fayose, first slapped the judge and then ordered his thugs to beat him further
