“Love and Makeup” (An OLX success Story)

When the relationship with her boyfriend ended, Folashade realised the weekends were way too long, but maybe that’s just what she needed- Time.

Folashade had always wanted to supplement the income of her 9am-5pm job by doing something that she loved.The love for makeup and it’s many applications, set her artistic juices flowing  uncontrollably.A natural face and a makeup kit always made her day.

Kemi, her sister had been her rock, she helped her through the entire  process of the breakup. She would always give her advice like ,

 “It’s better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all”,  “A wise woman will make more opportunities than she finds”

...... and that is exactly what she did when her sisters’ wedding day came.

Added to the sisterly advice,Kemi gave Folashade her first professional makeup job, and encouraged her to advertise online so that more people could use her services and see her  stunning work, she didn't know how, until she mentioned a site called OLX.

Like they say, the rest  history! She got so many calls from people who wanted their makeup done by her. She became so busy on weekends, her hobby was actually making her money and she forgot all about the heartbreak. Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; love is growing up.
