I am a man and this is my opinion. The marriage was about to begin on a shaky ground. If a wife-to-be is barred from the phone of the husband to the extent that he physically assaults her for picking JUST ONE CALL A FEW DAYS TO THE WEDDING, then chances are that he would repeat the physical assault along with verbal assault in a MUCH BIGGER WAY when they are married. A man should not raise his hands on a woman, and vice versa. She probably dodged a bullet. My opinion!
