Australian baby executed by ISIS after father tried to flee

An Australian baby has been executed by ISIS after its dad tried to flee the bloody Middle-Eastern conflict zone.

The killing was an act of revenge, after the father made contact with Australian authorities to try and escape the war in Syria and Iraq,the Daily Telegraph reports..

The baby's name, gender, or how it was killed remains unknown.


Attorney-General George Brandis condemned any parent who put their family in danger in Islamic State territory, the Daily Telegraph reports.

IS confiscates fighters' passports to stop them trying to leave, but reports say there has been an increase in the number of foreign fighters trying to go back home to Australia.
