Woman who claimed Donald Trump raped her at 13 drops lawsuit

A woman who accused Donald Trump of raping her when she was 13 dropped her lawsuit against the Republican presidential nominee.

Lawyers for the woman filed a one-page dismissal notice Friday in Manhattan Federal Court.

The move comes two days after the woman, identified only as “Jane Doe,” abruptly cancelled a press conference in Los Angeles.
In the lawsuit, the California woman claimed that Trump sexually assaulted her in New York during a series of sex parties hosted by billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 1994.

She said she was 13 at the time of the alleged attacks.

“Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed,” the plaintiff said in an affidavit.

She says that since Trump launched his campaign and received wall-to-wall media coverage, she has been “subjected to daily painful reminders of the horrific acts.”

  4. Although Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy, hotel and casino businesses of his have been declared bankrupt six times between 1991 and 2009 due to its inability to meet required payments and to re-negotiate debt with banks, owners of stock and bonds and various small businesses (unsecured creditors). Because the businesses used Chapter 11 bankruptcy, they were allowed to operate while negotiations proceeded. Trump was quoted by Newsweek in 2011 saying, "I do play with the bankruptcy laws—they're very good for me."
