Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III yesterday said the recession being experienced in the country and other parts of the world is ordained by God and the only solution is repentance.
Sultan Abubakar spoke in Sokoto yesterday as activities for his 10th coronation anniversary commenced with the distribution of N9 million worth of free items to 270 widows and orphans .He said
” The current recession in Nigeria and other parts of the world has actually been ordained by God. So, Nigerians should seek for repentance from God ,“The only solution to this is for us to show piety and repent."
The monarch also called on Christians and Muslims to live their lives according to the dictates of their Holy Scriptures.

ReplyDeleteThat is the reason for the call for REPENTANCE. Those in charge of the treasury chose to loot rather than use it for the common good of the country. Sad indeed! What good is billions in the account of one man when many go to bed hungry, millions out of job, no money in the pocket to spend? Almighty God chastisement of the wicked will be very severe.
