Man charged for doing nothing while his partner killed their 17-month-old son

A Pennsylvania man has been criminally charged for failing to intervene when the mother of his children smothered their 17-month-old son to death, cops said.

Andre Price Jr., 23, of McKeesport, was charged Thursday with two felony counts for failing to alert authorities after Christian Clark, 21, threatened to kill their toddler son in a series of chilling texts and videos..

Clark, who has been charged with homicide and attempted homicide, was arguing with Price Jr. about babysitting their young son and 2-year-old daughter in a text conversation spanning over two hours Tuesday.

"Ya kids ain't safe here I don't want them here," Clark, 21, said in one text,
I'm killing them," Clark said in another message — followed by a "laughing" emoji
The young mother then sent a video to Price Jr. showing their baby boy lifeless and face-down on a bed.

"Ahh, look, Angel is still alive and sweating your son on the other hand is not even breathing," Clark reportedly said in the video. "I wish I could keep the camera still."
In a text, Price Jr. replied,
"Send it to the cops post it to fb idc anymore you ruined my life" — but never called police or other emergency responders.
Clark eventually called 911 herself — but it was too late. Her baby died at a hospital late Tuesday and she admitted to suffocating him, cops said.

  3. Why is this story putting the father on blast when it's the mother who committed the crimes?
