A man choose a funny way to end things with his girlfriend after discovering she had been cheating on him.Sadly, it backfired..
He bought a card for his ' adulterous' partner, with the intention of presenting it to her at his own birthday dinner that night.
Originally, the front of the card read '

"This card will feel heavy", while a pleasant message inside it finished: "Because it's packed full of good thoughts."

Pleased with his work, he posted an image of the card on Reddit with username BinanoSplat, he captioned the picture:

"Found out my girlfriend is cheating on me. Giving her this card tonight at my birthday dinner."

However, his plan spectacularly backfired after his post went viral, resulting in his girlfriend's best friend seeing the card ahead of the dinner.

"Update - it's ruined... thanks Reddit," the boyfriend commented underneath the image, adding: "Her bestie found this and called her."
