MPN Interactive Session-What's Stopping You From Achieving Your Set Goals?

Good morning dear MPN family and welcome to our second interactive session.Last week Saturday, we had the first and I still thank everyone who contributed ,advised me and encouraged.God bless you all.
How did your week go? Mine went well.Much better than the previous week.Why? Because I took time out to EVALUATE.
Most times, we just keep working round the clock, pushing further without actually stopping for a second to think..I am making the right moves? Am I on the right path or track ?Are my goals being achieved or am I on a wild goose chase? Am I doing something which comes naturally or coercing myself to do something because others are.

This morning, I want us to talk about goals and how far we have come.Sometimes,you need to take a step back and look at your life from the eyes of others.

On the first of January 2015, as customary ,I made my new year resolutions and they involved some huge projects:

-Publish my first book
-Produce my first movie
-Organize the Miss Petite Nigeria Pageant
-Change my blog design (I put this here because I am a very sensitive to sudden changes.That is why I am loyal to a fault in all aspects of my life..Little things like changing my blog design,moving to a new environment etc takes a lot of convincing to do)
-Find Love

Fast-forward to October 1st.I decided to evaluate my progress so far .I realized something,I had forgotten my goals,but I had been working non-stop.Blogging.Waking up daily at 4am and sleeping at 10-11 ,sometimes 12.Ofcourse that's what I have an unwavering passion for..For one to be successful as a blogger, you can't afford to have breaks,especially when you do all the blogging by yourself .
However,there needs to be a balance in our lives..It's too short not to explore and exploit other God given talents .I wasn't too happy to find out ,I had not been able to manage my time and do other things .

So,I decided I MUST accomplish three this year .
 Miss Petite Nigeria Pageant .
Change my Blog background
Find love (lol maybe I already have and even more)

So my dear reading this..Its is not to late to accomplish what you have been longing to do all year

It's October now.What did you set out to do and how far have you come? If you were to rate your progress this year, what score would you give yourself ? Excellent? If you haven't done anything, what is stopping you? Share.You never know who's reading!

    I set to buy 3 hectares of land in Banana Island, I av achieved in buying 2 remaining one and I pray by God's grace i'll buy the remaining one. I av this problem wit MTN recently, I felt like I am dating MTN.I go to bed with a text and wake up with a diff text msg. It's either they are calling or begging me to suscribe to one thing or the other. VERY SOON MTN WILL BE LIKE:1. Dear customer, are u HUNGRY??...txt HGY to 35388 4 tips on HUNGER and what to eat. 2. Dear customer, need DELIVERANCE??...Text DEL to 35388 for daily tips on how to deliver yourself3. Dear customer facing ancestral problems??.... text ANCESTORS to 35354 and recieve daily ancestral tips. 4. Dear customer wanna bathe but u have no soap??....text SOAP to 35629 to recieve daily soaps to your phone.5. Dear customer feeling HEARTBROKEN??....Txt HEART to 38545and receive tips on how to plaster your heart... the one that got me angry was wen they sent Beauty tips to ma grandma. Imagine MTN sending my grandma BEAUTYTIPS... for what??

      I am thankful to God for His mercy. Its been a rough road but He's an awesome God. Each day, I get excited by His plans for my life I guess that's why I'm at peace with myself.

      I guess finding LOVE is all that's left now.

      Well as for me!!I have every reason to be grateful and if not for anything,the gift of life is more than enough..I set out some goals last year,and so far!!its been awesome though I haven't acheived in the aspect of love but I know its never too late..being single can be boring sometimes..

    This year I had 3 goals, one to finish my book 2) to buy a franchise where am based,3) to be extremely closer to God.so far no3 has been accomplished but still working on the remaining 2.so I will rate myself 50% done cause with God definitely others are in place.

    I planned to snatch my friend's boyfriend but the guy is covered with anti cheating vaccine. But I will before the end of the year. She slept with my boyfriend 5 years ago and thinks I didn't know. My progress is 20 percent. Thanks for this post Emeh.

    The only on my list this year was to be a better person.Am not yet at the point i want but i have been trying well enough and i have started making decisions for myself and not just letting people do it for me like before.

    I set three goals for this year and so far by God's grace,...I've achieved two remaining one,which I've put on hold for next year. .....i will say God has been so good to me this year.

    I wanted to give my life to Christ before the end of this year but seriously,with the circumstances surrounding me am not sure am gon be achieving that this year. And again I wanted to be a V-blogger, but I guess am going to shift that one till next year when am able to afford a computer..so help me God. Amen!

    This year has been a great year for me n am grateful to God, I did set some goals for myself have achieved some n have not achieved something like starting a new business but no capital but I tank God am still alive sound n healthy

    I set a goal to blog about my personal experiences and share my ideas and feelings. Started recently but not being seriously committed to it. One thing I desire is to be closer to God more than ever before. So far so good I will rate myself average but can do better before the year runs out.

    It's been the most challenging year for me...but in all d Lord has been faithful. I became a master's degree holder, a culinary chef (@treasuzz on instagram). My main goal this year is to set up water production factory...... It's practically looking impossible and things wouldnt move d way I wanted, but no way, I won't STOP!!! Till I pull thru. With God and hardwork I can do all things. So I'll rate myself 40%

    The only thing that can make one not realise their potential is themselves. This year has been fulfilling. One of my daughters graduated from secondary school with flying colours.
    I also received 2 awards in September as benue best on air personality.
    I am still waiting for more grace and high favour from Jehovah.
