This Saint Laurent Ad has been banned for starring 'Unhealthy Thin Model"

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the UK has banned Saint Laurent's recent ad campaign and banned images that feature an "unhealthily thin" model.
 The ad in question, featuring 18-year-old model Kiki Willems, was brought to the ASA's attention after appearing in an issue of Elle UK. According to the filing,
 the Saint Laurent campaign became a concern because of the "particular focus to the model’s chest, where her rib cage was visible and appeared prominent," as well as her legs, since "her thighs and knees appeared a similar width." This thinness is emphasized further by her chunky platform shoes, and after consideration of these factors together, the ASA ruled that Willems appears "unhealthily underweight" in the ads, therefore making them irresponsible.

    Irrelevant you say? When children as young as 10 are seeing this and having body image issues you say it's irrelevant? You people saying it's irrelevant have no idea how much damage these images cause. Anorexia and bulimia are becoming very rampant and can be life threatening, lest I remind you of that model suffering from one of these illness who weighs 47lbs!!! The ASA take these things seriously, they don't even allow airbrushed or photo-shopped pics appear on covers of magazines in the UK. Kudos to them!
