Toke Makinwa frowns at parents buying 13-yr old kids Chanel bags....

Toke Makinwa must have seen  a little girl carrying a Chanel classic bag today and decided to air her displeasure..She feels 13 is too young for a child to be carrying expensive designer bags like that..
She says she can't give her own children such luxury as they must learn to work hard for them...

  7. The bag might belong to her mum,she might just allow her to carry it once in a while but wateva the case may be,u must not let riches/wealth affect the proper upbringing of ur child.

  8. Giving a little child undue luxury is not fair.

  9. When I was growing up, in the 70's and 80's, rich people bought their kids nice things and took them on expensive holidays abroad. Today, these same kids are grown up, well-educated and successful in their various endeavours. They sometimes wore fancy adult clothes, designer eye wear and shoes. It didn't seem to have done them any harm, though.Perhaps it was the time when the kids weren't aware of the value of what they were given and hadn't actually asked for those things.

  11. I think it's just a way the parent uses to show off... The child probably doesn't even know of what she's wearing..
