According to Vanguard, the suicide bomber, it was learnt concealed the Improvised Explosive Device, IED, in her hijab and joined the bank customers on a queue to make withdrawals from one of the bank’s ATMs centres before the bomb exploded.
The First Bank building where the suicide bombing took place had all its glass windows shattered. All banks in the town have been closed down and banking services suspended.
Another bank staff who spoke on the issue said about 20 persons died while another said that the woman who carried out the attack had her body cut into two even as her head was found across the road near a suya spot, adding that a student of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, who was in the bank to make withdrawals when the incident that killed her occurred.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in Bauchi State, DSP Haruna Mohammed, also confirmed the bank attack by a suspected Boko Haram female suicide bomber, pointing out that seven persons died while another 10 sustained various degrees of injuries.

ReplyDeleteHijab! Hijab!! Hijab!!!. They now use it for all sorts of crime. Even robbers can wear hijab and hide AK47 therein and carry out robbery activities. That's why I am happy the Lagos state government banned such outfits in public schools, It is not even a requirement for Muslim women to wear a veil or Hajib in Islam. A veil or Hajib neither of those two coverings are mentioned in the Koran or Hadiths as obligatory. The only reason the veil/hijab is worn by some women is because Mohammad made his wives wear it - out of jealousy!!! He hated seeing his wives flirt with his companions so he made rules up for them and only them to wear it. But Muslims are also told that Mohammad was the most pious man and should be emulated as much as possible - so Muslim men force their wives to wear a /veil/hijab in public just as Mohammed did with his wives. What this boils down to is this is NOT a religious garment but one of oppression. More needs to be done to stop Muslim women from wearing these garments as it is now used mainly by the BH group to deceive security agents when they wear the veil/hijab to cover up the bomb they are carrying. Rip to the dead.

If I'm not wearing Hijab at all self if I wear a cloth and my clevage is out and another man is staring at it, def my man will be jealous(Common sense) I wear Hijab thou but not everytime and I can see you know the Quran very well.. Hijab is just a form of being Modest either is written or not written some things are common sense. Mohammed forced his wives to wear it out of jealousy and so do other Muslim men who also copied from Mohammed. covering of hair is a different thing entirely. Christian women also covers their hair in churches and during prayers but they do not wear some form of masquerade clothing in the name of religious garment as Most Muslim women do especially the Tab-liq set of Islamic worshipers I hope you have come across them( Those that wear complete black coverings from head to toe not minding the hot sun and smells like dead rats when you come closer to

I think what SE is trying to say is that even MEN can wear that HIJAB and pretend to be women and carry out bombings or any form of criminal activities.
