Burglar rescued after setting himself on fire during failed robbery attempt

 An unhinged man got caught in an air duct at a Midtown hotel while trying to set himself on fire during a bizarre burglary and suicide attempt early Wednesday, police said.

Hotel staff found buff and barefoot Juan Estella, 35, wearing only long underwear, stuck inside a chute at the Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel on W. 35th St. near Seventh Ave. about 5:30 a.m.
Estella snuck into the hotel and crawled up the air duct to the seventh floor, where he ended up getting stuck.

A Bosnian Croat war criminal has died in hospital after drinking poison during an appeal hearing in The Hague.

Slobodan Praljak, 72, died in hospital, with the United Nations court announcing that the courtroom was now “a crime scene.”

Darcy Smith, Roo's owner, said Roo  tried to fight another rooster through a cage and broke his beak in two places, bloodied his comb, did damage to his head and had swelling on his brain.

Roo wasn't able to sit up right, eat, drink, or even crow until he got a special chicken wheelchair from Australia.
