But despite ending things on a sour note when he cheated on her, Nick Cannon and Christina Milian looked to be getting on famously as they enjoyed dinner date at Sugarfish in LA on Monday.

The singer, 35, and the comedian, 36, coordinated in jeans and white tops as they left the Sushi restaurant together.

The duo beamed as they exited the restaurant quickly, hugging as they headed to their vehicles.

Christina showed off her natural beauty under minimal make-up, accessorising with a white cap and large diamond earrings.

Dressed in a loose white T-shirt and ripped jeans, she oozed understated style.

Meanwhile Nick looked dapper in a pair of matching jeans and a white vest, flaunting his tattooed arms.

Wearing a pair of sunglasses, he failed to make a quiet exit with his former flame.

Christina shares 7-year-old Violet with rapper ex-husband The Dream, while Nick is father to 5-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex wife Mariah Carey, and baby son Golden from his brief relationship with model Brittany Bell.

Christina and Nick met on the set of Love Don't Cost A Thing in 2003, where they played the main characters and each others' love interests.

Their on-screen romance continued off-screen, and they went on to date for two years.
