Mom too drunk to remember daughter's location, lies to cops that 6-year-old is kidnapped

A South Florida woman was arrested Sunday on charges of neglect and filing a false report after she made up a story that her 6-year-old daughter had been kidnapped.

Maria Irias, 29, admitted making up the story, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.



NY Daily News reports that ,Irias allegedly told deputies she had been drinking all day Saturday and had no recollection of where her daughter was because she was so drunk.

The child was found a short time later.
