According to Facebook user Mofe Van Zekins his nephew had to undergo major surgery on his spinal cord due to the heavy book bag he's been carrying .He wrote
"photos are images of my Nephew who attended Primary School and due to his heavy book bag he started walking with a bend and complained of back pain.More below
On visiting the doctor, he had to undergo major surgery to rectify the problem"

ReplyDeleteThis is terrible! I think the schools should allow the students keep the books in sch and take the important ones home.. my niece and nephews, na luggage dem dey drag go sch. Too much books! Ahan!

DeleteI've never bn a fan of carrying school bags on my back. In primary 4 I stopped it, and started using cross bags . Back in secondary school, we usually had all our books in our lockers all locked up. It relieved the stress.
