Unpaid Fees-Angry Youths attack Jonathan's Campaign coordinator in Jigawa..

The Coordinator of GoodLuck/Sambo Campaign Organization in Jigawa, Alhaji Yusuf Alasan escaped being lynched when he was attacked by youths(pic above not real photo) who participated in the campaign held in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital, Weekend. Youths drawn from the 27 LGA’s of the state attended the Transformation Agenda of Nigeria (TAN) sponsored campaign for President Jonathan’s re-election.

Drama started shortly after the event when the youths demanded for their fees, but to their surprise, the coordinator asked them to drop their phone numbers as he promised payment will be made in due course and they should expect bank transaction alert.

This drew the ire of the youths who accused the campaign coordinator, who also doubles as the SURE-P boss in Jigawa State of diverting their mobilisation money running into millions of Naira, describing his action as betrayal and breach of trust.

The situation later degenerated when the youths pounced on Alhaji Alasan and his team, as people scampered to safety, some removing their TAN branded T-shirts and Face caps.

All effort to contact the Jonathan campaign Coordinator proved abortive as his telephone rang several times without him taking his calls.

But one of aides, Aminu Aminu confirmed that irate mob attacked the organisers of the rally.

  3. PDP is falling like the great wall of babylon... PDP are so violent and they are no true supporter in PDP. We are loyal to Buhari our supporter don't support for money but sincerely for CHANGE. Many PDP supporters has secretly told me that they will all vote APC governorship candidate in Rivers state! God will prevail. APC is one of the most peaceful party in the whole wide world#Join the movement it not too late#-Pst.Chekeleleke

  6. That is their business...........this is what you get when you use money to buy party members and supporters....if he hasn't been going around sharing money....this wouldn't have happened.....

  7. Giwa Damilola, you had better wake up from the slumber, both PDP and APC are guilty for such trait.. Politics naturally is like that, you win some, you loose some, coupled with the fact that northerners are Sheeps when it comes to violence..!!!

    3. @ Evans,,"Loose and Lose", look up the meaning in the dictionary if you"ll have time bro. Next time you choose who to correct. Maryam, you know both are guilty, please don't deny..

    4. Oga Stevosky take correction like a man. It's the mature thing to do. You should check your dictionary because your grammar was wrong. I'm sure he chooses who to correct - he chooses to correct those who are wrong, and this time he chose you! BTW, the plural of sheep is sheep, not sheeps. I'd ignore your derogatory tone in the statement about the North.

  13. It's sad dat matured adults, who went through the four walls of a classroom, graduated from the universities and live in the 21st century but can still be talking abt northerners, southerners etc. If we cud be sensible enof to just accept we are aall Nigerians! The way ppl act violently in the north dats how odas do in the south! Dis has Notin to do wit religion, tribe or Whr u live, it's just personality! If we accept dis dats d only time Nigeria will be a better place.
