Monalisa Chinda took to twitter this afternoon, to encourage women to say No to domestic violence...the actress who is speaking at the Pearl conference today shared her story....below
If your a Nigerian and have never experienced domestic abuse, check well. I've been of domestic abuse like Slap even when i did nothing wrong, they beat me in anticipation of what is to Happen. Lol, that one is to keep you in line. We call it discipline. Of course, that is when your mum or dad hits you for misbehaving o, not when a moron that is in a relationship with you hits you.
Domestic violence.... Some Naija babes are like he is not abusing me o. He is just expressing his love for me, its just that he is hot tempered. But he always beg me and tell me sorry after everything... and he spoils me, infact that's when the love is sweeter.
