Femi-Fani Kayode's Reaction to 12 Nigerian soldiers sentenced to death...

The 12 soldiers have been sentenced to die by firing squad after shooting at the GOC in Maidugri .They were said to be aggrieved due to the conditions under which they were facing and lost it after a group of soldiers were ambushed and killed by Boko Haram.
“The GOC’s visit coincided with the arrival of the corpses of soldiers killed in an ambush in Chibok on the night of May 13, 2014.The apparently agitated soldiers, on sighting the corpses of their slain colleagues became hysteric. Some opened fire on the GOC, who was lucky to have escaped unhurt. However, the bullets hit and seriously injured some of his bodyguards, who also fled to safety,”
They were found guilty of criminal conspiracy, mutiny, attempt to commit murder (shooting of the vehicle of the GOC); insubordination to a particular order; insubordination and false accusation...

  2. This is what happens when the moral id very low. I blame the government for this, the soldiers should be discharged not killed. If the Nigerian army was doing what they were supposed to be doing in the first place this incident would not have happened.
