Catholic Bishops slam Oritsejafor-It is wrong for a man of God to always be around the president

The leadership of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria has accused the President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, of smearing the image of the body, saying it was wrong for his private plane to be associated with the controversial arms deal in South Africa. The Bishops said military aircrafts could have been conveniently used for that purpose.
Speaking on the BBC Hausa service monitored by The Nation Correspondent Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama, Archbishop of Jos and President of CBCN, said they had been watching with “sadness how Oristejafor had been hobnobbing with the Presidency for long,” and accused the CAN chief of dragging Christianity into the mud.He said..

“It is not proper, the guilty must be punished. It is not acceptable for a Christian leader to be seen always with the President.  We in the Catholic have always picked holes in Oritsejafor’s style of leadership in CAN and we even wanted to stop attending CAN meetings at the national level,

    1. Why should we black African Christian fight ourselves. In Italy black priests in catholics are not respected because of their skin color. They cannot head a parish despite their qualifications. Why can't we respect ourselves in Africa and do one thing good. Why are catholics are nuisance in Nigeria, filled with jealousies like the pharisees of old. What is wrong in having a pan...called aeroplane. I think it's time they respect this man of God called Oritsedjafor. If they need plane as well, they can go to Jonathan to seek one. Black slaves. This is how they are not respected here in Europe because of fight ...fight.

    3. Anon 08.46 you must be a retard. Who is fighting who? Can't you understand simple grammar. Catholic leaders respect themselves as not to meddle into controversial issues like Pastor Oritsejafor had done. CAN is an association that has been well respected in the past and had never been political until recent times. Going forward Oritsejafor should respect his position and distance himself from politics if he doesn't want CAN to disintegrate.

    4. Anonymous 08:46 u have spoken well,if i see people like u who comments almost what i have in mind it makes my job less easier!and for those of u that zoo called nigeria if u know u don't wanna die just travel out of that country b'cus we christians our mumu don do as we have always been massacred in the north so now we want to apply the law of moses which is an "eye for an eye"as we shall nomore run back when being chased by hausa/fulani blood thirsty skumbags which is why after much deliberations we asked our CAN president to get us guns for our self defence.Oritsejafor is the right brave man for the job, making the right move so we christians will nomore be killed like chicken,so keep quite if u don'tknow what's goin on underground. So the yeeyee coward catholic church priests should just shut up his mouth if not i promise he will be the first point of attack,Afterall the catholics don't read the bible b'cus they know it was seriouly manipulated by the ruling catholic priests during the era of "Constantinople"(google it)and Alexandra the great while Greece was then the world power!so the then ruling class wicked catholic priests in Rome fabricated words like "thou shalt not kill"and brought it to the minds of our great fore fathers who fell to their tricks but underground the then catholic empires have great armies ready for war"thou shalt not have more than one wife"it's a lie the truth is they don't want ur women to give birth to more men that will defeat them at war.my people i thank God i travelled out nigeria so my eyes are more opened and i know the wickedness of white people to parmanently keep our beloved Africa underdeveloped. And for ur information the jews or isrealites whichever u call them they don't ever read the bible u people are reading which is why they have a strong army that can immediately retaliate fire for fire whatever Palestine does to them!.the catholic church has done more harm than good in this world!go to YOUTUBE and watch "evils of the catholic church".wait a minute when last did the stupid coward catholic church priests come out publicly to criticise Atiku,Buhari,Lamido,Mudu Sheriff and sultans of sokoto for sponsoring boko haram? pls don't make me get more angry oo!let me just stop here for now!

  10. Nathan the prophet was always around King David of Israel, Samuel was always around King Saul most of the prophets like Jeremiah, IsIah, Daniel, Amos, the pharisee and Sadducees called the Sahendreens were always around king He rod in Jesus time and all these represents like Christian association both in the old testaments and the new tsstaments of the bible. When Samuel stayed away from king Saul....he remained in darkness and could not hear from God. The same with David, Herod and others. So what gospel is the catholics preaching in the light of this visible truth. I think it is time Catholics admit that they are full of bitter envy and jealousy against this humble man, that God promoted into this enviable position.. Oritshejafor supposed to be encouraged to be around this our Christian president. The emirs were always around IBB, Abacha, yar adua, Tarawa Balewa. No one hear a noise about anything. They built the Northern part and their religion to an enviable position. Why can't we follow that path and stop all these envyings, jealousy and strifes. Catholics needed to see areas they could support this gentle man in moving the gospel forward and alleviating poverties and political disproportionality in the Nation and all other important issues like education, free wellfare services for the weak, hospitals and repaIring social degradations in our society. Instead it is issues of words and fight like animals. Shame on you catholic chur h of Nigeria...I say again ...shame.

Or don't u know that the United kingdom, united states and isreal are christian nations who spent millions of dollars or pounds as the case may be for the defense of their faith and territories from wicked intruders! ?
