Kim & Kanye's controversial Vogue issue 'sales LESS than expected'

Kim And Kanye's April Vogue cover may be the most controversial till date but it is now reported that the controversy isn't pushing sales as much as expected.
According to NyPost
Early estimates were saying the controversy was going to push sales to the 400,000-to-500,000 level, easily outselling the 355,000 copies that BeyoncĂ© sold on newsstands for the March 2013 cover, and also eclipsing the year-ago April cover of Michelle Obama that sold around 269,000.Now, as the “Kimye” issue goes off sale and real numbers begin to trickle in, it looks like actual sales will fall way below early estimates.
“The trends for Kim K. are definitely better than the prior month with Rihanna, to the tune of 20 percent better,” said Josh Gary, vice president at Mag Net Data, who uses scan data from wholesalers that cover about 98 percent of the market.
“I’d argue that if you peg last year’s Michelle Obama at 269,000, this issue will net out around 250,000,”

  1. All the controversy that went with them should have shot the magazine sales down. Kanye is trying too hard to keep Kim happy and also use her for his own gate crashing. Enough, please.

  2. Black people don't buy Vogue and white people do. Put this couple on a Vogue cover after making it such a big deal and that's you walking out on a Vote for Obama campaign. It isn't enough to say that America is racist, as it is to say that Kanye West is obnoxious or Kim makes him do stupid stuff. Who cares whether they sold a million copies? Is Vogue now the white Bible? Put a white face on the cover and let's return to business.

  9. E! Is very credible! That's why the hardly get sued!. Ladi, did you just by your dstv decoder? The kards don't own E at all. Wher were you when the girls of the play boy mansion (the girls next door) rocked the airways? Did hugh own E then? A lot people are ignorant and just talk plenty. Btw, if these so called nigerian blogs don't post pics of these celebs, they wouldn't be up in our faces (nigerians). They live their normal lives and pple dig out photos and you pple complain. Abeg! The problem now is, how about the abducted girls?

    1. E is credible because they own keeping up with the Kardashians. When it comes to Kim they hype her. NY post is more credible .
