"I never signed a contract with Donjazzy or Mavin"-Wande Coal on why he took "Baby Face"

When asked during an appearance on Vox Africa UK, about his reaction to Mavin's press release terminating his contract with them, he said
"I mean everybody knows that I'm black Diamond.I've been with Donjazzy for a while now so I just decided to do my own thing.There is no beef.I mean the song baby face was supposed to be on my album ,but since we fell out,it was just there.It was void.I didn't have no contract .I was just there helping.I working on my album and its 95% there."
You know what it means, no contract, no way Donjazzy could sue or use lawyers..probably why he resorted to twitter..Video below

    I knew this Wande was a theif.He better change his label from Black Diamond to Black demon Devil. Because no contravt you stole the song even after Donbaba gave you kick,Rotate and all the songs which made you have a comeback Dirty mushin lizard

    Lessons to be learnt from this?: 1. It is easy to form a 'brotherhood or sisterhood' bond with someone you've worked with for years or even with you friends. In doing this, you could easily forget the basics and take things for granted. Always remember, even if na your brother or sister, when it comes to business, ALWAYs cross all the T's and dot all the Is. Never bend the rules for anyone. 2. In the same vein as 1 above, never expect 'better' from people. Guard yourself and your investments but be generous so when people like WC or Dbanj break your heart you count it as charity or a bad debt and move on. 3. Never bite the fingers that fed you. One way or another it'll come back to hunt you! Good bye and good luck WC! Marvin will continue to wax strong!
