I don’t read the news, I make the news. The thing is people tend to look for loopholes when they see you doing well. And since people feel I’m feminine in nature, then they think I’m gay. But the truth is I don’t really care about what people say because I’m not fashioned according to what the society expects. And also I think for my personality, if I were gay, the news would have grown from speculations and would have been in people’s face.More below...

Thats life. I used to be a gay basher till i met this african and he changed my views. He was normal and intelligent and didnt look gay. He gave me great advise on my career which greatly helped me. He was kind and loyal. He respected the fact that i was straight. I had to in turn respect his sexual orientation. In short he was human. Except that he had sex with men. Our society so much bashes and hurls stones at them that they go into hiding. Many gay men are married to women just cause of societal pressures. At first i couldnt deal but i guess his character out weighed his sexual orientation. Let me ask u guys bashing gays, what if ur blackberry was made by gay engineers will u fling ur blackberry? The contents of a man's heart to me outweighs his sexual or her sexual orientations. Its a hard pill to swallow but why not focus on what that gay individual has to offer society. Derenle is made for showbiz and he's not doing bad for himself. DeleteIm amazed that u can conclude from my long write up that i dont know God. Anyway, u are entitled to your own opinion whether ur opinion is right or wrong. Here is an even longer write up for you. Happy reading. I was raised by christian parents and a lot of the values that shape my life are christian based. However, science has shaped a lot of my thinking as well. I hold the view that when we try and run society based on religious views it doesnt go well. Take for instance the on going saga about the age of a girl to be married. Also the recent marriage between pastor kumuyi's son. There is a limit to which we can depend solely on religious inputs for decision making. Mind you i said solely, meaning that there should be other inputs as well. I as a person, would want to go with science or even inputs from other faiths as long as its to better society. Like i said in my write up, this gay wahala is a bitter pill to swallow. There was a time in this country when twins were killed and in fact some areas of the country twins are still being killed ( channels report ). Twins were killed cause it was strange to the folks of that time and they didnt know any better. Ever had of in vitro fertilisation? Well thats science's answer to many women who had given up hope on ever having a child. Thats just one of the important inputs of science. What science has told me about gays is that some gays are born that way. And im inclined to belive science. Sorry. A girl who is gang raped may come to the conclusion that she hates the sight of the male sexual organ or even males in general. So she decides to be a lesbian and do away with males. Im not talking bout cases like this, when i say gays were born that way. Im taking bout people who knew they were different as at the tender age of nine,that is people born gay. Its so unfair that we castigate people who through no fault of theirs found themselves born a different. I asked the question would you fling your blackberry phones if you suddenly found out that gay people made them? Or you think they are no gay people working at research in motion? It took a while for me to change my outlook on gays cause i was a real gay basher. But today, im more understanding as to why they do, what they do. Now, im not saying gay marriage should be legalized. Honestly, i dont support gays getting married, as this will wreck havoc on the fabric of society. Like i said, i met a gay guy and he changed my views. He made me more tolerant and understanding about gay people. But, he didnt change my views on marriage between gays. My view is that, lets turn to science and research to show us the way as per gay behaviour and how we can better deal with this behaviour. The more research is done in this area, the more we can understand this absurd behaviour. Of course, im talking bout people who normally carry out researches. We hardly, do research in nigeria. Religion cant be the sole factor, for decision making. Surely, religion is an important factor but its not the only factor. I prefer a more secular and broad based approach thats inputs from different areas. Although i was raised, based on christian values.
