GREEN TV set to hit the airwaves

A brand new and specialized TV channel-GREEN TV is set to hit the airwaves this television quarter. GREEN TV,an extension of Green IT- Africa's sustainability magazine is a 24-hour satellite TV channel on environment and sustainable development. The channel which will air on  DAARSAT,is the first of its kind on this shore.

According to the CEO of Channel Media, Architect Tunde Imolehin,
“Our mission is to give Africa a credible voice in the area of environment and development. We are at the receiving end of the catastrophe called climate change. The west insists we must develop at its pace. We cannot!
We must seek and nurture a creative and smart strategy to develop sustainability with our pride and sovereignty intact"

GREEN TV will cover the environment, natural resources management and conservation, climate change, ecotourism and sustainable development issues and much more with special focus on Africa- “a continent that is sadly facing an immense challenge to its rich environment and vast natural natural resources.
