Kendrick Lamar Responds to Criticism Over Buying His Sister a Toyota

Kendrick Lamar has responded to criticism which trailed his graduation gift to his his little sister.Kendrick had gifted Kayla Duckworth, with a 2017 Toyota sedan,however,some said he has too much money to have bought her just a Toyota.

However,during Kendrick’s appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Real 92.3 ,he addressed
 the criticism,saying

“I don’t know if it’s the public or it’s kids on the internet that’s 12 years old and 13 and figured, you know, she’s supposed to have a Lamborghini by Kendrick Lamar,” he said. “Yeah, it’s a trip.”You know, people’s perspective of me and the money that I have and the stages and places I’ve gone to, they probably expect me not to have the same morals and values that I have,” Kendrick said. “I want to carry over to my family, to my little sister or whatnot, 'cause she’s younger than me so she didn’t have to go through the same struggle that me and moms had to go through.
