Governor Ayo Fayose Sacks His Cabinet

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has sacked every member of the State Executive Council.

This was disclosed in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka.

“All the former Commissioners are directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective ministries.
“The governor thanked the former commissioners for their service to the State and wished them well in their future endeavours.”

No reason was however given for the sacking of the commissioners.
