Sofia Vergara makes x-rated blunder during Golden Globes presentation

Sofia Vergara made an error when pronouncing the word "annual" when she took the stage at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.

When discussing the annual tradition of the award ceremony, the TV star accidentally said "anal tradition" before quickly realizing her mistake.

"I didn't mean anal," Vergara said while laughing it off to the amusement of the crowd. However, twitter users had a field day over the blunder , with some wondering whether or not it was really an accident.

Vergara posted a photo of herself backstage to Instagram after the mistake, writing, "I look lonely back stage but I was just trying to come up with my an*s joke hahhahha!!!!"
