Can you answer this truthfully........

 It is said a man or woman's character is an indication of how well they were brought up... Some were not even raised by parents even though they were present .Others raised by the streets,neighbors ,the pastors ,gangsters etc..Who raised you and was that person(s) good or bad to you?

    I stayed in d hostel since i was young,bt my parent do come nd visit me,so i was raised by my house mistress

    My grandma and she did a great job. I never knew she wasn't my real mum until this year.

    My stepfather raised me by raping me from the age of 9 to 15 and when I told my mum,she beat me and called me a witch said I wanted to steal her happiness. She finally learnt when he impregnated her best friend.

    My mom, dad was not always around. I remember her beatings whenever I do wrong, but can't trade that experience for anything.

    Without being specific, some comments are sad & shocking. Why do African parent fail to connect with their children? Always about their authority without paying attention to their children welfare. Worst, many mothers have failed their daughters hence reason why some even rely on social media Vlogsites listening to celebrities dishing out bad advice. Sad.

    Really don't know why African parents adapted to the mentality of being only happy that they have a child, pretty good, thank GOD..,, but they/many do forget that devoting their time with their children n their welfare is more important than having SEX and get their wife's pregnant.... And the rich ones are the worst ones... Really sad..
    I thank GOD for my parents........!!!

      You're right, annoyingly the rich parents brag about their successful kids and won't mention the least successful even disown them!Some parents should be in prison for child abuse.
